Sage 100 Contractor, with the manual work taken out
Sage 100 Contractor runs your jobs and your books. The work at its edges still lands on a person: typing field jobs into work orders, turning work orders into invoices, moving data when you outgrow it. We build the software that removes that work.
- Runs on your own server
- Safe to re-run
- Fixed-price quotes
From the field to the ledger, without re-keying
Some are custom builds. Some start from a tool we already have, fitted to your setup.
Field service sync
Customers, work orders and invoices flow from Housecall Pro into Sage 100 Contractor on their own, with technician hours, service areas and per-line tax. The same pattern fits other field service apps with an API, such as Jobber and ServiceTitan.
Work order invoicing
Completed work orders become invoices in a fast review screen and post straight back into Sage, with no re-keying.
Inventory data loads
Parts imports and opening balances for the inventory module, loaded and reconciled to the ledger. Our free guide covers the day-to-day screens.
Reports and data out
Combined aging, job cost summaries and refreshable Excel or Power BI connections, read straight from your Sage 100 Contractor data and reconciled before you rely on them.
Migration to Sage Intacct
When you outgrow Sage 100 Contractor, a full company moves into Intacct with its history: chart of accounts, vendors, customers, projects, and AP and AR invoices.
Custom apps and utilities
A screen, an import or a batch job the product does not have, built against your own data. If Sage already does it with a setting, we will tell you that instead.
Straight to your Sage data, with nothing in the middle
Sage 100 Contractor keeps your jobs, work orders, clients and costs in a SQL Server database on your own server. We read exactly what a job needs from it and write results back the way Sage itself would, so nothing moves through a spreadsheet on the way.
What we install runs on your server under its own dedicated login, scoped to your company. We model how Sage treats a record through its whole life, so a sync never changes something your office has already posted, and a second run never creates a duplicate.
What the live Housecall Pro sync moves
| In Housecall Pro | Lands in Sage 100 Contractor as | What comes across |
|---|---|---|
| Customer | A client in 3-6 Receivable Clients | Name, email and phone. An existing client with the same name is linked, not created twice, and keeps its own details. |
| Job | An unposted work order in 11-2 | Title, site address, service area, dates, technician, dispatch rows and hours. |
| Invoice | The same 11-2 record, ready to post | Invoice number, every line, tax per line, totals and billing dates. |
One way, every five minutes. It never writes to Housecall Pro, never posts for you, and never changes a posted record. How the sync works
From first call to running in production
Free 30-minute call
Show us the manual job. We will say plainly whether it is a build, a setting you already own, or not worth automating.
Fixed-price quote
An itemized scope and one number, usually within two business days of the call. No hourly meter.
Build and preview
We build against your real data. You see what it will write to Sage, on your own data, before it goes live.
Go live, with support
We install it, show your team how it runs and stay on for support and maintenance.
Questions people ask
Can you connect Housecall Pro to Sage 100 Contractor?
Yes, and it is running in production. A live one-way sync pulls customers, work orders and invoices from Housecall Pro and writes them into Sage 100 Contractor, validated and repeat-safe: re-running a sync never duplicates records, and once a record is posted in Sage the sync never touches it again. Technician hours, service areas and per-line tax come across with the work order. How the sync works.
Can Sage 100 Contractor turn completed work orders into invoices automatically?
Yes, with Billwright. It reads completed work orders straight from Sage 100 Contractor, builds the invoice lines and totals in a fast review screen, and posts the finished invoices back into Sage, with no re-keying. You select one work order or a batch.
How do I move from Sage 100 Contractor to Sage Intacct?
Crossbeam reads the Sage 100 Contractor database directly and writes into Sage Intacct through its API: chart of accounts, vendors, customers, projects, and AP and AR invoices, historical data included. You choose what to move, review a preview, and get a per-record log of what landed.
Can Sage 100 Contractor connect to the other platforms we use?
Yes. If a platform exposes an API, we can build a direct connection between it and Sage 100 Contractor, so field service jobs, hours or any other data move without export and re-entry. When a platform has no API, we can usually work from the files it produces. See custom Sage 100 Contractor integrations.
Why does Sage 100 Contractor say a part is not a valid stock item?
The Stock Item box in 9-2 Parts is not ticked, or was ticked but not saved. Tick it, save, then close and reopen 12-2 Inventory Allocation, because screens that were already open do not see the change. Our free inventory guide covers this and four other common errors.
